My mom’s in a hospital in Shanghai right now. They’re visiting my little brother and his wife and kiddo, and she ended up having to have emergency surgery to remove most of her large intestine... Nothing I’d rather do than be able to give her a hug! At least I’ve been able to talk to her through the miracle of Skype and FaceTime. Thankfully she should be released in a few days and she and my dad should be back stateside by the end of the month (maybe I’ll get to see her a month after that).
